NORFOLK, Va. – The North Carolina Central men's and women's track and field teams gear up for the 2026 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 14-16. The championships will take place at William "Dick" Price Stadium on the campus of Norfolk State.
Competition begins Thursday, May 14, at 1 p.m. with the men's decathlon. Other opening-day events include the men's and women's high jump, along with the men's and women's 10,000m run, where champions will be crowned.
Action continues Friday with preliminary rounds in various sprint, hurdle and distance events. Medalists will also be decided in the men's and women's long jump, shot put, hammer throw and 3,000m steeplechase.
Saturday's finale begins at 10 a.m. with the women's pole vault and javelin, along with the men's triple jump. Finals in all relays, sprints and hurdles will follow, as well as the men's and women's 1,500m and 5,000m runs. The full schedule can be found HERE.
Tickets are available online only and will be distributed digitally. Single-day tickets are priced at $15, while an all-session pass for all three days of competition costs $40.
The final day of championship action will stream live on ESPN+ beginning at 1 p.m.
