NORFOLK, Va. – After a podium finish at the Pre-National Indoor Meet last weekend, Rachel Key-White was named the MEAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference on Wednesday afternoon.
In the women's high jump, Key-White cleared 1.72m, tying for first place and setting a new personal record. She also competed in the long jump and triple jump. The performance moved her to second on the MEAC indoor performance list, behind teammate Tia Lucas.
Key-White is now also top 10 on the Division I Southeast Region indoor performance list, sitting at seventh, and is third on the HBCU performance list as well.
The Eagles return to the Virginia Beach Sports Center for a second straight weekend, this time for the 2026 MEAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 22-23.
