CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina Central men's and women's track and field teams completed its second meet of the indoor season at the Dick Taylor Challenge on Jan. 16-17 at the Eddie Smith Field House, hosted by North Carolina. The Eagles swept the 60m race and triple jump event, collecting a total of five victories and 12 top three finishes.
Among the sweeps were Rachel Key-White and Malcolm Forbes in the women's and men's triple jump. Forbes leaped 13.80m on his final attempt for the win, ahead of teammate Esaias Caves (13.68m). Key-White finished at 11.84m, ahead of four other competitors. She also earned a third-place finish in the women's high jump.
