DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central visits USC Upstate in a non-conference volleyball match at the Hodge Center in Spartanburg, S.C., on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. The match will be livestreamed on ESPN+.

The Eagles enter the matchup 2-5 overall while the Spartans are 4-3.

• NCCU was competitive despite three losses in the Dig The District tournament in Washington, D.C. over the weekend.
• The Eagles' best match was Friday, Sept. 5, against Georgetown. They pushed to Hoyas to five sets in the loss. NCCU fell to both George Washington and Temple in three sets.
• USC Upstate beat North Alabama and Tennessee Tech in four sets and lost to Alabama-Birmingham in three sets at the Blazer Invitational in Birmingham, Ala., this past weekend.
