DURHAM, N.C. – Three away matches are on tap this week for the North Carolina Central women's volleyball team.
The Eagles open the week at Charleston Southern in a non-conference match on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 5 p.m.
After facing Charleston Southern, the Eagles will head to the state of Maryland for two MEAC matches this weekend. They visit Morgan State on Friday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m. and Coppin State on Sunday, Oct. 5, at 1 p.m.

NCCU vs. CHARLESTON SOUTHERN
- The Eagles are 1-9 against Charleston Southern since 1990. NCCU's lone win was in 2007 in Charleston, S.C., by a 3-0 score. The last matchup was 2017, a 3-1 Charleston Southern victory in Elon, N.C.
- The Buccaneers enter the match on a two-game win streak. They are picked to finish sixth out of eight teams in the Big South Preseason Poll.
- Charleston Southern will be the fifth Big South team the Eagles will see this season. NCCU has already played USC Upstate, UNC Asheville, Radford and Gardner-Webb.
NCCU vs. MORGAN STATE
- The Eagles are 7-4 against Morgan State since 2007, including a 3-2 home win on Nov. 1, 2024.
- NCCU has captured seven of the last eight matches in the series.
NCCU vs. COPPIN STATE
- The Eagles are 5-12 against Coppin State since 2007, including seven consecutive losses.
- NCCU last defeated Coppin State on Sept. 26, 2021, at home in five sets.
