GREENSBORO, N.C. – North Carolina Central fell to Michigan 11-0 and UNC Greensboro 10-2 in the UNCG Softball Tournament on Friday.
The three-team tournament resumes Saturday at UNCG Softball Stadium. The Eagles play Michigan at 10 a.m. and UNCG at 3 p.m.

Kendall Smith recorded a double for the Eagles' only hit against Michigan (15-7 overall). The Wolverines tallied eight hits and took advantage of six NCCU errors.
Against UNCG, the Eagles took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
Tyler Suttles scored on
Samaria Jackson's single, and Jackson later scored on
Cameron Frye's single.
The Eagles (1-17) collected five hits against UNCG, which scored 10 consecutive runs. The Spartans (16-5) tallied 11 hits and committed one error.
