Both teams met last month. ECU defeated NCCU 9-3 at home on Feb. 26.
Jaden Davis collected two RBIs and
Nyla Rodgers added an RBI for the Eagles in the loss.

Samaria Jackson each scored a run for NCCU.
The Eagles (3-23 overall) are coming of a three-game road series against Howard to open the MEAC schedule over the weekend. Suttles, Jackson and
Takia Nichols stood out for the Eagles in their three losses.
Suttles and Jackson both batted .500 in the series. Suttles hit a triple and drove in two runs and Jackson registered a home run, three doubles, one RBI and two runs scored. Nichols had a team-high four RBIs in addition to two homers, one double and two runs scored.
ECU (16-10 overall) was 1-2 against Tulsa in an American Conference series over the weekend. The Pirates lost 5-1 on Friday and split a doubleheader on Saturday. They won 9-1 in the first game and lost 3-1 in 10 innings in the second game.
Morgan Johnson leads ECU with 27 RBIs.
