DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Central men's and women's track and field teams are set to compete in four regular-season indoor meets during the 2025-26 campaign, including two local events that give fans a chance to cheer on the Eagles.
For the third straight year, NC Central opens the indoor season at the JDL Fast Track with the Visit Winston-Salem College Kick-Off on Dec. 6.
Following the holiday break, the Eagles will compete in two January meets. NCCU returns to the Dick Taylor Challenge on Jan. 16-17, hosted by North Carolina at the Eddie Smith Field House. The Eagles will then travel to Lynchburg, Va., for the Liberty Open on Jan. 23-24.
The final tune-up before postseason competition is the Pre-National Indoor Meet, hosted by Norfolk State at the Virginia Beach Sports Complex on Feb. 13-14. NCCU will return to the same venue the following week for the MEAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, set for Feb. 22-23.
The indoor season concludes with the NCAA Indoor Championships, hosted by Arkansas on March 13-14.
