DOVER, Del. – North Carolina Central started slowly and never recovered in a 3-0 MEAC volleyball loss (10-25, 17-25, 18-25) to Delaware State at Memorial Hall on Friday.

NCCU TOP PERFORMERS

• Kamren Harper had seven kills and Tayah Little contributed six kills.
• Manuela Cripa Nasser finished with 19 digs and two total blocks.
• Loren Johnson tallied 12 digs.
• Allyson Rouse added two total blocks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Eagles trailed early in all three sets which proved costly.

NOTES

• Harper's streak of five straight double-doubles in kills and digs ended Friday.
• The Eagles dropped their second consecutive match.
• NCCU split the season series against Delaware State. The Eagles won Sept. 26 at home in five sets.
• The match was the third of a four-match road stretch for the Eagles.
