DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Central University Department of Athletics has announced a collaboration with Influxer, an officially-licensed vendor that creates co-branded apparel customized with players' names and numbers, to produce co-branded Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) merchandise for all Eagle student-athletes through an online marketplace.

N.C. Central fans will now have the chance to support the Eagles in style with personalized merchandise. All North Carolina Central student-athletes will have the opportunity to create his or her own webpage that showcases their personalized gear available for purchase.

Influxer will also provide NCCU student-athletes with education and training on marketing, entrepreneurship and personal branding.

"With the landscape of college athletics ever-changing, it's important for North Carolina Central to support our student-athletes every way we can," Director of Athletics Dr. Louis "Skip" Perkins said. "In partnering with Influxer, we are positioning ourselves as a leader in the NIL space, and we'll allow our athletes the opportunity to build and grow, even beyond the field of play and the classroom."

Influxer, which has partnered with over 300 universities, will not only oversee the online store, but also all fulfillment and customer service while collaborating with NCCU and its student-athletes on creative elements and marketing.
