Tyler Suttles produced team-high totals of three hits and five RBI while junior
Ashanti Eubanks tossed a complete-game victory as the North Carolina Central University softball team cruised to an 11-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference road win at University of Maryland Shore on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles scored a season-high 11 runs on 10 hits, including four doubles, and two walks over the just five innings played to secure the road triumph.
NC Central completed the three-game series sweep of the Hawks to improve 13-29 on the season and 9-6 in conference clashes.

Adriana Person all scored twice as a total of eight different Eagles scored.
Eubanks (4-9) did not allow an earned run in the complete-game victory, scattering just six hits to the Hawks in her five innings of work. The hosts did score an unearned run in the fifth inning to break-up the shutout bid by Eubanks.
UMES (8-28, 3-12) held the Eagles scoreless for the first three innings before the maroon and gray plated eight runs in the fourth. The Hawks have now lost seven consecutive games to NCCU.
NC Central will next play a non-conference doubleheader at Hampton University on Wednesday with the games starting at 12:30 p.m.
