DURHAM, N.C. – Continuing its homestand, the North Carolina Central University men's basketball team hosts Virginia University of Lynchburg on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 3 p.m. in McDougald-McLendon Arena. The Eagles have won both meetings against the Dragons including last season's victory during non-conference play.

NC Central is coming off a 91-36 victory on Nov. 25 against Carolina University in the first meeting between the two programs. Junior forward Perry Smith Jr. and senior guard Keishon Porter each scored a game-high 15 points while junior guard Po'Boigh King netted 14 points.
The Eagles wreaked havoc on the defensive end on the Bruins taking over the second half forcing 24 turnovers and ending the game on a 41-2 run. NCCU also outrebounded CU 47-26.
The Maroon and Gray are currently 22nd in the nation in both turnover margin (5.9) and turnovers forced per game (17.13). In the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, the Eagles lead in those same two categories as well as three-point percentage defense holding opponents to 32.6 percent beyond the arc.
