ATLANTA, Ga. – The North Carolina Central University men's basketball team hits the road again, this time in Atlanta to play the Georgia State University Panthers on Friday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. in the GSU Convocation Center. This will be the first meeting between the two teams and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

NCCU BENCH
The last time NCCU played was in the Rock Hill Classic on Nov. 15-17 hosted by Winthrop University. The Eagles went 1-2 in the tournament against three mid-major teams from the Sun Belt Conference, Coastal Athletic Association and the Big South Conference.
The Eagles' (1-5) only victory came against the College of William & Mary on Nov. 16 with a 78-76 triumph. Junior guard Po'Boigh King finished with 22 points to lead the Eagles and senior guard Keishon Porter had 14. King averaged 19.8 points in the tournament.
NC Central is ranked 59th nationally in free throw percentage (76.3 percent), 36th in three-point percentage defense (25.9 percent), 76th in turnover margin (+3.5) and 50th in turnovers forced per game (16.33).
GEORGIA STATE BENCH
The Georgia State Panthers played Toccoa Falls College on Nov. 18 winning 106-66. Jelani Hamilton went off for 32 points going 12-of-18 from the field. Toneari Lane leads the Panthers in scoring with 16.5 points per game.
Aside from Toccoa Falls, GSU has played Ball State University, Mississippi State University and Jacksonville State University with a 71-66 win over Ball State.
The Panthers are currently ranked 55th in fouls per game (14.8), 11th in offensive rebounds per game (16.50) and 18th in rebounds per game (44.75) in the nation. GSU's Nick McMullen is 12th nationally in defensive rebounds per game (8.25) and Clash Peters is 26th in offensive rebounds per game (3.75).
