Humphrey and Robison Earn MEAC Weekly Honors

Norfolk, Va. – North Carolina Central University football offensive lineman Trevon Humphrey and kicker/punter Kaleb Robison were named MEAC offensive lineman and specialist of the Week, respectively.
 
The Eagles are coming off a 68-0 win over Virginia-Lynchburg, the most points scored by an NC Central football team since scoring 85 points back in 1946.
 
NCCU scored 33 points in the first quarter, the second most scored in a quarter since scoring 39 against Virginia Union in 1968.
 
Humphrey (OL, 6-5, 265, r-So., Greensboro, N.C.) recorded a 96-percent grade on his blocking assignments with one pancake block en route to leading the Eagles to 439 yards of total offense and 326 yards rushing. He didn't allow a sack or gain a penalty for the Eagles.
 
Robison (K./P, 6-2, 186, Fr., Middleburg, Fla.) registered 11 kickoffs totaling 679 yards with a 61.7 average with six touchbacks.
 
The Eagles have a bye this week and will be back in action next week for homecoming when they welcome Morgan State to O'Kelly-Riddick Stadium.
