DURHAM, N.C. – Three North Carolina Central University football players will attend the National Football League's (NFL) HBCU Showcase and International Player Pathway Program (IPP) Pro Day, to be held March 28-30 in Ashburn, Va.
Reigning MEAC Offensive Player of the Year Walker Harris, running back Chris Mosley and wide receiver Chauncey Spikes will represent the Eagles at the Washington Commanders' practice facility.
Harris is coming off a season where he became the program's all-time single-season passer. After passing for 3,214 yards and 24 touchdowns on the season, Harris wrapped up the campaign ranked eighth in FCS in passing yards.
Mosley led the Eagles on the ground, rushing for 1,017 yards on the season and eight touchdowns. His 92.5 rushing yards per game were second in the MEAC, and he ranked 10th in FCS in all-purpose yards.
Spikes was a First Team All-MEAC honoree after ranking fourth in the MEAC in receiving, averaging 60.4 yards per game. For the 2025 season, Spikes caught 48 passes for 664 yards and nine touchdowns.
The on-field portion will take place on Monday, March 30. Offensive prospects will begin at 8 a.m. ET, followed by defensive and specialist workouts beginning at 10:45 a.m. ET.
NFL clubs will be on hand to scout the Showcase and Pro Day, ensuring significant visibility for the best draft-eligible HBCU players and IPP participants.
