NO. 3 – The North Carolina Central University men's tennis team defeated Morgan State University, 4-2, in the semifinal round of 2023 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championship inside Cary Tennis Park on April 28, to advance to the MEAC Championship match for the first time in the program's Division I era (since 2012).

In the conference championship match, the Eagles battled South Carolina State University on ESPN+. At the conclusion, NCCU was presented with the 2023 MEAC Men's Tennis Championship runner-up award.

NCCU finished the season with eight match victories, marking the most wins since the 2014-15 campaign.
