NO. 6 – The North Carolina Central University softball team outhit host North Carolina State University, 10-6, in game two of a doubleheader at the Dail Softball Stadium on March 8, as the Eagles notched a statement 10-3 win in the nightcap.
 
NCCU's third triumph over an ACC opponent during the program's Division I era (2012-present) was televised on the ACC Network. Prior to defeating NC State this season, the Eagles stunned nationally-ranked University of North Carolina in 2019, and beat University of Virginia in 2015.
