Donnell Carter was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's Track Athlete of the Week and NCCU junior
Joidon Boddie earned MEAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week honors for their performances at the Raleigh Relays on March 23-25.
Carter (Waldorf, Md.) ran the fastest 400-meter dash time of his collegiate career, coming in second at the Raleigh Relays with a time of 46.91 seconds. It is currently the fastest time in the MEAC and ranks 42nd in the nation.
Boddie (Raleigh, N.C.) ranks 32nd in the nation in the women's triple jump after turning in a fifth-place effort at the Raleigh Relays, leaping 12.56 meters (41 feet, 2.5 inches).
