DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central University will make its first appearance in the NCAA Division I-FCS Playoffs on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 2 p.m., in a road contest against the University of Richmond inside Robins Stadium in Richmond, Virginia.
Ticket information will be available at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 20 at RichmondSpiders.com.
NCCU (9-2), currently ranked No. 14 in the AFCA Coaches poll and No. 17 in the Stats Perform poll, earned an at-large bid to the NCAA postseason after achieving an 8-1 record versus FCS opponents, including non-conference triumphs over Elon, Campbell and North Carolina A&T out of the CAA, as well as Mississippi Valley State from the SWAC.
Richmond (8-3) will make its 13th NCAA FCS playoff appearance after winning six straight games to end the season and earn a share of its fifth CAA title.
