Lamont Victoria were named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's and Men's Field Athlete of the Week for their performances at the Liberty Invite over the weekend.
Fulton tied the meet record at the Liberty Invite in the women's triple jump, winning the event with a career-best leap of 12.15 meters (39 ft., 10.5 in) to be named MEAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the first time. The Pasadena, California native holds the second-highest mark in the conference this season.
Victoria soared a career-best 2.15 meters (7 ft. 0.5 in) to win the high jump at the Liberty Invite and is named MEAC Men's Field Athlete of the week for the second straight week. The Prince George native has the highest leap in the MEAC and is tied with six individuals for the eighth-best mark in the NCAA.
The Eagles return to action at the Richard Drake Invitational, hosted by Virginia Wesleyan University on Sunday, Feb. 5.
