NORFOLK, Va. – Four North Carolina Central University Eagles earned Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) weekly football awards for their performances during the Eagles' 45-27 road win over nationally-ranked New Hampshire on Saturday, Sept. 17.

Davius Richard was named MEAC Offensive Player of the Week, junior safety
Khalil Baker was selected as the co-MEAC Defensive Player of the Week, junior tackle
Corey Bullock was voted MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Week, and junior kicker
Adrian Olivo was tagged MEAC Specialist of the Week.
Richard (QB, 6-3, 215, Jr., Belle Glade, Fla.) accounted for 334 yards of total offense and three touchdowns as the Eagles downed No. 25 New Hampshire on the road, their first win over a ranked opponent since 2016. He ran for 140 yards and a score, the highest single-game rushing total for an NCCU quarterback in 23 years, while throwing for 194 yards and two touchdowns. He engineered an offense that went 12-for-15 on third down and 5-for-5 in the red zone.
Baker (DB, 6-0, 185, Jr., Winston-Salem, N.C.) picked off his third pass of the season against New Hampshire, returning it 33 yards for a touchdown.
Bullock (OL, 6-4, 315, Jr., Accokeek, Md.) graded out at 95 percent and racked up 13 pancake blocks at UNH, protecting an Eagles offense that had 399 total yards. He went 65 offensive snaps without recording a penalty or giving up a sack.
Olivo (PK, 5-10, 185, Jr., Plant City, Fla.) nailed a 30-yard field goal and connected on all six extra-point attempts against the Wildcats.
Also, with the win, NCCU moved into the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 poll at No. 25, the Eagles' first regular season national ranking since Oct. 16, 2017.
To start the season, NCCU has defeated North Carolina A&T 28-13, Winston-Salem State 41-0, and No. 25 New Hampshire 45-27.
