ORLANDO – North Carolina Central University senior tight end
Quentin Chaplin has been announced to the roster for the Tropical Bowl, a college football all-star game held at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Saturday, Jan. 15.
A native of New Bern, North Carolina, Chaplin played in all 11 games for NCCU during the 2021 season. The tight end registered two receptions for nine yards, including a spectacular one-handed touchdown grab in a road victory against Morgan State.
During the 2019 campaign, his first as an NCCU Eagle after transferring from Butler Community College in Kansas, Chaplin recorded seven receptions for 95 yards, averaging 13.6 yards per catch.
