DURHAM, N.C. — Seniors
Maru Berghaus and
Ivana Dragovic were recognized before their final dual match at North Carolina Central University and then took the court and won a doubles match as partners to highlight play for the Eagles in a 5-1 non-conference loss to Coastal Carolina University on Tuesday at the NCCU Tennis Courts.
Berghaus and Dragovic were ahead 5-3 in their doubles match, but sophomore Victoire De Samucewicz and freshman Jesse Hollins won three of the next four games to force a tiebreaker.
