Senior pitcher
Kiara Hurley (4-16, 4.00 ERA, 79 SO, 148.2 IP) went 2-0 against the Aggies and has not allowed an earned run in her last 17 innings pitched to earn her second MEAC Pitcher of the Week award of the season. The Preseason Pitcher of the Year has as 4-3 record with a 2.06 ERA in league play.
Freshman outfielder
Imara Harrell collected her second MEAC Rookie of the Week award after leading the Eagles with a .444 batting average last week. Harrell also hit her first collegiate home run against N.C. A&T as she ranks second on the team with a .306 average and 12 runs scored. She is NCCU's stolen base leader with eight thefts.
