WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Gordon Lewis broke the meet record in the men's 400-meter dash as one of four event wins, three runner-up performances and 14 top-10 finishes by North Carolina Central University at the 2020 Camel City Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
A junior out of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Lewis raced away with the top spot in the 400m dash with a record time of 48.61 seconds. Lewis also helped Donnell Carter, Malik Miles, and Jazire Notice triumph in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:20.17, edging Troy by less than a second.
