SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Coppin State has won two of its last three, all at home, including a win over then undefeated North Carolina A&T, 79-75, on January 18.  The Eagles defeated Howard, 82-75, in their last game, and Koby Thomas put in a game-high 24 points alongside a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds from Brendan Medley-Bacon.  Thomas leads his squad in scoring with 12.7 points per game, and Medley-Bacon is averaging 7.7 boards per outing.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
Morgan State has won its last three, all on the road, and all by six points or fewer.  The Bears are returning home for the first time in the same time span, and are 6-3 inside Hill Field House.  MSU defeated Howard, 89-83, in its last game, and Malik Miller scored a game-high 19 points with eight rebounds.  Stanley Davis put in 14 points with six assists in that contest, and he leads the Bears in points, rebounds, and assists with 13.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per outing.

PERKINS THE PLAYMAKER
Junior point guard Jordan Perkins has logged a lot of time on the court in his career, totaling over 2100 minutes, and 86 appearances with 61 starts out of a possible 91 games.  With that time on the floor, he's also been a great playmaker and now stands third all-time in career assists at NCCU.  On Jan. 20, 2020 at Florida A&M he recorded his 400th career assist to become just the third Eagle to reach that career milestone.  He then dished out seven assists against SC State on Feb. 1, 2020 to move into second all-time on the list.  Perkins is also second in the MEAC in assists with an average of 4.8 per game.  Below is a list of the top-five assisters at NCCU.
