STARTING FIVE:
1. NCCU is 380-294 all-time in MEAC play.
2. NCCU is 105-36 with LeVelle Moton in regular-season MEAC games since the 2011-12 season.
3. NCCU leads the MEAC in field goal percentage at 45.2%, steals with 8.8, and is second in points allowed with 64.8 per game.
4. NCCU is 21-10 in February since 2016.
5. NCCU has won 14 consecutive games at home.
 
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
South Carolina State is currently 6-8 in MEAC play, and is currently in a tough three-game losing streak, but the Bulldogs have lost each of those games by six points or fewer.  In fact, each of SCSU's last four games have been decided by that same margin, with its last win coming against Coppin State, 70-66.  This is the second meeting between the Eagles and Bulldogs this season, NCCU won the first meeting, 73-56 in Durham on Feb. 1.  Damani Applewhite leads SCSU with 13.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.  SCSU has won the last two meetings in Orangeburg.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
Bethune-Cookman is currently on a hot streak, as it has won its last three games, and is currently 9-5 in the league.  The Eagles and Wildcats meet for the second time this season, and NCCU came away with a big 86-59 at Moore Gym on Jan. 18.  B-CU is paced by Preseason MEAC Player of the Year Cletrell Pope, who is averaging 14.0 points and 11.9 rebounds per game.  Pope picked up a double-double of 11 points and 12 boards last time out in a 78-55 win over Norfolk State.

PERKINS THE PLAYMAKER
Junior point guard Jordan Perkins has logged a lot of time on the court in his career, totaling over 2300 minutes, and 91 appearances with 66 starts out of a possible 96 games.  With that time on the floor, he's also been a great playmaker and now stands third all-time in career assists at NCCU.  On Jan. 20, 2020 at Florida A&M he recorded his 400th career assist to become just the third Eagle to reach that career milestone.  He then dished out seven assists against SC State on Feb. 1, 2020 to move into second all-time on the list.  Perkins is also second in the MEAC in assists with an average of 5.0 per game.  Below is a list of the top-five assisters at NCCU.
