SCOUTING THE AGGIES
North Carolina A&T and NCCU meet with first place on the line, as the Aggies are 8-3 in league play.  NC A&T had won five straight, but fell in its last two matches at Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M.  The Aggies are paced by Ronald Jackson who is averaging 14.0 points and 10.3 rebounds per game, and Kameron Langley leads the MEAC in assists with 6.9 helpers per game.  The Eagles and Aggies will meet again in the season finale on March 5 in Durham at McDougald-McLendon Arena.

PERKINS THE PLAYMAKER
Junior point guard Jordan Perkins has logged a lot of time on the court in his career, totaling over 2200 minutes, and 88 appearances with 63 starts out of a possible 93 games.  With that time on the floor, he's also been a great playmaker and now stands third all-time in career assists at NCCU.  On Jan. 20, 2020 at Florida A&M he recorded his 400th career assist to become just the third Eagle to reach that career milestone.  He then dished out seven assists against SC State on Feb. 1, 2020 to move into second all-time on the list.  Perkins is also second in the MEAC in assists with an average of 4.8 per game.  Below is a list of the top-five assisters at NCCU.
