SCOUTING THE TAR HEELS
North Carolina hosts NCCU in just its second home game of the season, following a second-place finish at the Maui Invitational in Asheville, North Carolina, and a 93-80 loss on the road at Iowa as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Tar Heels are spearheaded by career 1,000-point scorer Garrison Brooks who tops his squad with 13.2 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Brooks most recently posted a team-high 17 points along with eight boards against the Hawkeyes. This will be the third all-time meeting between the Eagles and Tar Heels, and the first since the 2014-15 season where NCCU went undefeated in conference play for the first time in school history (16-0).
