SCOUTING THE HORNETS
Delaware State is looking to get back to its winning ways after an 81-68 loss to Morgan State to open MEAC play. The Hornets are led by John Crosby, who's averaging 22.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest, and is shooting 41.6 percent from the perimeter. Crosby put in 22 points with five boards and six assists last time out against MSU. This is the first of two meetings between the Eagles and Hornets this year.

SCOUTING THE HAWKS
Maryland Eastern Shore is off to a 1-0 start in league play, after defeating Howard, 78-66 at home on Saturday, Jan. 4 at Hytche Arena. Ty Gibson is one of the top players for the Hawks, as he's averaging 8.4 points with 2.2 assists per game. Gibson put up 14 points in the win against Howard, and was helped by A.J. Cheeseman with 17 points and seven rebounds. This is the first of two meetings between the Eagles and Hawks this year.
