SCOUTING THE RATTLERS
Florida A&M closed the non-conference schedule with one of its biggest wins in recent history, as the Rattlers defeated Iowa State, 70-68 in Ames, Iowa on Dec. 31. FAMU is led by MJ Randolph, who leads his club in scoring (11.5 ppg), rebounding (5.0 rbg) and assists (2.3 apg). FAMU has had the most success against the Eagles as of late, as it holds a two-game win streak in the series.

MAKING 50, WINNING BIG
NCCU set a new Division I school record with 50 made field goals against Christendom on December 11, surpassing a mark of 47, also against the Crusaders in 2017 in a 109-28 victory. The Eagles also recorded an impressive 90 points in the paint during that contest. The Eagles won by 81 points, which is the second-largest margin of victory in school history after an 85-point triumph over Saint Augustine's, 119-34, on Feb. 18, 1944.

PARTY LIKE IT'S 1989
NCCU recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of its 1989 NCAA Division II National Championship, where it defeated Southeast Missouri State, 73-45, setting a record for the largest margin of victory in the title game that still stands to this day.
