SCOUTING THE HORNETS
Delaware State has played just one game since the dramatic contest in Dover, Delaware on Jan. 11, and the Hornets fell 77-98 at home to North Carolina A&T. John Crosby still leads DSU in scoring with an average of 22.1 points per game, and he put in a game-high 28 points against the Aggies in the last game. This is the final regular season meeting between the Eagles and Hornets for the 2019-20 campaign.

PERKINS THE PLAYMAKER
Junior point guard
Jordan Perkins has logged a lot of time on the court in his career, totaling over 2000 minutes, and 83 appearances with 60 starts out of a possible 88 games. With that time on the floor, he's also been a great playmaker and now stands third all-time in career assists at NCCU. On Jan. 20, 2020 at Florida A&M he recorded his 400th career assist to become just the third Eagle to reach that career milestone. Perkins is also second in the MEAC in assists with an average of 4.5 per game. Below is a list of the top-five assisters at NCCU.

PARTY LIKE IT'S 1989
NCCU recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of its 1989 NCAA Division II National Championship, where it defeated Southeast Missouri State, 73-45, setting a record for the largest margin of victory in the title game that still stands to this day.
