GREENSBORO, N.C. – North Carolina Central University earned four individual medals and a relay medal as the NCCU women's team captured its best conference finish in five years during the 2019 MEAC Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 2-4, in Greensboro.
The NCCU women collected 50.5 points to place sixth in team standings, the Lady Eagles best finish and highest point total since finishing sixth with 54 points in 2014.
NCCU sophomore
Bhrandi Crenshaw, who won the women's triple jump gold medal at the conference indoor championships in February, took home the outdoor triple jump gold medal on Saturday with a distance of 12.51 meters. The Alexandria, Virginia, native also claimed a bronze medal in the high jump at a height of 1.68m.
Junior
Keila Robertson posted a career-best measurement of 12.20m in the women's triple jump to find her way onto the podium for a bronze medal.
The NCCU women's 4x100-meter relay squad of

Erin Johnson and
Olivia Andrews received bronze medals for finishing third in 45.84 seconds. For White, it is her seventh and final MEAC medal in a distinguished NCCU career.
On the men's side, NCCU junior
Omega Smalls garnered a bronze medal in the high jump with a leap of 2.08m.
