NORFOLK, Va. – North Carolina Central University junior high jumper Omega Smalls has been announced as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for his winning performance at the Aggie Invitational on April 12-13.
 
A native of North Charleston, South Carolina, Smalls won the men's high jump with a leap of 2.06 meters (6' 9") during the wet weekend. 

He currently ranks third among high jumpers in the MEAC.
