STARTING FIVE:
1. NCCU begins its 87th season of men's basketball with over 1,200 wins.
2. LeVelle Moton is coaching his 11th season with NCCU, and is just the third coach in program history with 10+ seasons.
3. NCCU will face seven opponents for the first time during non-conference play.
4. NCCU is 9-10 in December since 2016.
5. NCCU is 16-1 at home during non-conference play since 2016.
 
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
Wofford reached new heights in the 2018-19 season as the Terriers picked up their fifth Southern Conference championship, and its first NCAA Tournament win with an 84-68 win over Seton Hall in the First Round.  This season, Wofford is 3-4, and recently stopped a four-game slide with a 67-42 win on the road over MEAC opponent, Maryland Eastern Shore.  The Terriers are charged by Storm Murphy who is averaging 15.1 points per game while shooting 58.5 percent from the floor and 54.1 percent from the arc.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Georgia returns to the mainland following a trip to the Maui Invitational.  The Bulldogs closed their excursion with a thrilling 80-77 win over the hosts, Chaminade, and return to Athens with a 5-2 overall mark, and 4-0 record inside Stegman Coliseum.  The Bulldogs are led by Anthony Edwards who has been sharp from the field with an average of 20.6 points per game.  He also adds 5.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists per outing.

NCCU vs SOCON
The Southern Confernce has 10 member institutions and NCCU has faced two in the Division I era.  The Eagles have played a total of six games against the conference, and have been defeated each time.
