WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – North Carolina Central University junior
Bethany White posted two top-6 performances at the Camel City Indoor Track & Field Invitational on Feb. 2-3 at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
White ran the fourth-fastest time of 7.57 seconds, a season-best, in the preliminaries of the women's 60-meter dash, then recorded a time of 7.63 in the finals to place sixth. She finished fifth in the women's 200m dash with a time of 25.34 seconds.
NCCU senior
Akia Morris placed 10th in the 60m dash with a time of 7.72, while junior
Miaysha Bryant finished 10th in the 200m dash with a time of 25.65.
In the field, NCCU freshman
Bhrandi Crenshaw tied for eighth place in the women's triple jump with a leap of 11.29 meters (37' 0.5").
On the men's side, NCCU freshman
Gordon Lewis placed seventh in the 400m dash with a time of 50.15., while fellow freshman
Jazire Notice finished 10th in the same event with a time of 50.38.
