Question: Tell me something interesting about yourself that others may not know.
Jaquell: "I always wanted to be an engineer, until I got to college."
Q: Why did you choose NCCU?
JT: "I chose NCCU because it's close to home, and I felt the family atmosphere the many times I visited NCCU."
Q: What is your major? What do you want to do after NCCU?
JT: "My major is Business Administration, concentrating in Finance. After NCCU, I plan to have a shot at the NFL, but plan B is to have a career in banking."
Q: What do you like most about being an NCCU Eagle?
JT: "What I love most about being an NCCU Eagle is the help and opportunities offered by the staff to make sure you graduate with a plan."
Q: What has been your most memorable moment at NCCU?
JT: "My most memorable moment at NCCU was my first career interception for a touchdown my freshman year against FIU."
Q: What is your favorite part of game day at O'Kelly-Riddick Stadium?
JT: "The game."
Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals?
JT: "I usually just listen to all of my favorite artists' music to get in my zone."
Q: Why football?
JT: "I've been playing football since I was 9 years old, and my first time playing it I really fell in love with it."
Q: What three words best describe you?
JT: "Determined. Humble. Passionate."
Q: How would you like to be remembered from your playing days at NCCU?
JT: "I want to be remembered as one of the most competitive, hardworking, and talented safeties to play at Central."
Q: If you could invite any living person to WG Pearson dining hall for lunch, who would it be and why?
JT: "I would invite my little brother, because he looks up to me and is trying to follow my footsteps, but only to be better; and I have to show him the way."
