The libero recorded double-digit digs in all nine matches over the first full month of the season for an average of 3.62 digs per set.
Ianovale's consistent play included 16-dig performances against University of Evansville, Wright State University and East Carolina University. The product of Sao Paulo, Brazil, was named to the Wolfpack-Camels Invitational All-Tournament Team after posting a match-high 16 digs in NCCU's match against the Wright State Raiders on Sept. 8.
Ianovale has led the Lady Eagles and ranked in the top-10 of the MEAC in digs per set all season in her first year at the libero position (she served as an outside hitter in 2017).
The mass communication major boasts a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA) after her first two semesters at NCCU. Ianovale transferred to NC Central after earning an Associate of Arts degree from State College of Florida.
