LYNCHBURG, Va. – Four North Carolina Central University student-athletes earned top-10 finishes during the Liberty University Kickoff indoor track & field competition on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 26-27.
NCCU freshman
Gordon Lewis (Fredericksburg, Va.) returned to his home state and posted a season-best time of 21.72 seconds in the men's 200-meter dash to place sixth.

Mykol Branch and freshman
Marvin Jones tied for eighth place in the men's high jump with identical leaps of 1.94 meters (6' 4.25").
Junior
Bethany White was the ninth-fastest sprinter at the event with a time of 7.69 seconds in the women's 60-meter dash.
