The Lady Eagles have lost their last dozen games, including its first nine MEAC games to Southern Division rivals Florida A&M, Savannah State and Bethune-Cookman. NCCU (3-34 Overall) is winless on the road.

Senior third baseman Markell Wylie and sophomore shortstop/outfielder Danyelle Noland both went 5 for 11 in last weekend's three-game series against the Wildcats in Daytona Beach, Florida. Wylie leads NCCU with a .310 average and 18 runs scored. Noland, who paces the team with five stolen bases, increased her batting average to .242.

The veteran trio of senior second baseman Jenny Tracy (.298, 12 RBI, 4 HR), junior pitcher/designated player Dominique Wilson (.282, 17 RBI, 2 HR) and senior catcher Casey Hargett (.263, 12 RBI, 7 2B) are the only other players batting over .250 for the Lady Eagles. They have combined for 41 of NCCU's 73 RBI on the season.

Wilson (0-7, 6.27 ERA), junior Jennifer Allison (1-12, 5.55 ERA) and senior London Booker (2-14, 6.33) all carry ERA's within one run of each other as the squads primary pitchers.

NCCU swept Norfolk State last season in Durham by scores of 10-2 and 1-0. Wilson and Booker both tossed complete-game victories in that doubleheader sweep.
