CLINTON, S.C. – Senior catcher

The Lady Eagles went 0-4 on their spring break road trip. NCCU (1-22 Overall) won its last home game on Friday and will look to get back in the win column when the Lady Eagles return home and entertain University of Maryland Eastern Shore at Parkwood Athletic Field on Thursday at 4 p.m. (DH).
GAME ONE: Presbyterian 9, N.C. Central 1 (5 Innings) The Blue Hose scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth to pull away for the 9-1 victory. NCCU committed three errors in the frame which led to four unearned runs that turned a close game into a blowout.

PC knotted the score in the home half of the first on a bases-loaded walk and then took the lead for good on a two-run homer by junior Blaire Miller, a liner over the left field fence.
Miller paced the Blue Hose going 3 for 3 with a single, double and home run and four RBI.

Markell Wylie and freshman
Breanna Carter in the second, third and fifth innings, respectively, but the Maroon and Gray was unable to capitalize on any of those opportunities.

Junior counterpart Katie Brown improved to 7-4 with the complete-game victory for Presbyterian. Brown only fanned a pair of Lady Eagles but despite a lot of contact scattered just five hits.
GAME TWO: Presbyterian 8, N.C. Central 2 Wilson and sophomore

The hosts started the scoring with three runs in the second that featured a two-run double by Blaire.
NCCU pulled within one with its two runs in the top of the third. Noland ripped a one-out triple and scored on a wild pitch before Wylie reached on an error and eventually scored on a Hargett double to left-center field.
A pair of doubles in the home half of the third extended PC's edge to 4-2 before the Blue Hose exploded for their final four runs on three singles, two walk, a hit-by-pitch and a sacrifice fly in the sixth.
