THE GAME: NCCU heads around turn four for the homestretch in Daytona as the Eagles meet Bethune-Cookman for the second time this season.  NCCU has an opportunity to finish the campaign in fourth place of the MEAC and get a first round bye in the tournament, however the Eagles must win all three remaining games.

THE CONFERENCE PICTURE:
-AS IT STANDS: NCCU is currently in sixth place in the MEAC, and if the conference tournament started today, NCCU would play #11 Coppin State on Monday, March 7.
-IF NCCU WINS THE REMAINING GAMES: The Eagles can finish as high as fourth in the conference at 9-7, which would earn them a first round bye.  If that happens, NCCU will play the winner between #5 and #12 on Thursday, March 10 in the quarterfinals.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:
-Bethune-Cookman picked up an 11-21 record last season and went 7-9 against MEAC opponents.  The Wildcats were seeded seventh for the conference tournament, but bowed out in the first round against Coppin State, 64-60.
-The Wildcats have Jordan Potts (Columbus, Ohio) at the head of the pack, averaging 16.4 points per game with a team-leading 4.4 assists per contest.  Mario Moody (East Orange, N.J.) is a big factor with 12.3 points and 7.1 boards per outing.
-Bethune-Cookman is currently riding another three-game win streak after last knocking off Stetson in overtime, 96-94 on Monday, Feb. 22.  Potts collected a game-high 27 points, and Moody notched a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards.

SERIES: NCCU leads, 9-4.

NCCU VS. BETHUNE-COOKMAN:
NCCU holds a 9-4 all-time lead over the Wildcats, and have won the last six meetings.  The most pivotal matchup in the series came during the 2012 MEAC Tournament, where a late charge call allowed Bethune-Cookman to escape with a 60-59 win in NCCU's first Division I season.  NCCU has won each game after that.  NCCU defeated B-CU 90-66 in Durham on Feb. 13 this season.
