THE GAME: NCCU host Florida A&M for the penultimate game at McDougald-McLendon Arena in the 2015-16 season.  The Eagles and Rattlers last met in Tallahassee, as NCCU left with an 81-63 victory on February 1.
 
SCOUTING THE RATTLERS:
-Florida A&M had a rebuilding season last year and picked up two conference wins and were ineligible to compete in postseason play.  So far this season, the Rattlers have improved on their previous campaign and are currently 7-16 overall this season.
-The Rattlers are spearheaded by do-it-all man Malcolm Bernard (Middleburg, Fla.) who leads the team in points, rebounds and assists.  Bernard is currently picking up 14.0 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, and is second in the MEAC in assists with 4.5 per outing.  Isiaiah Omoregie (Tampa, Fla.) and Justin Ravenal (Lithonia, Ga.) are the team's second-leading scorers with 8.9 points per contest each.
-Florida A&M was defeated by North Carolina A&T its last time out by a 75-68 final on Saturday.  Ravenal led the squad with 16 points, followed by Bernard with 12 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
 
SERIES: NCCU leads, 12-2.
 
NCCU VS. FLORIDA A&M:
NCCU leads the all-time series against Florida A&M 12-2 and FAMU's two wins have both come in the Division I era for NCCU.  The Eagles are 9-2 against the Rattlers since the transition, and have won the last three matchups.  The last time Florida A&M defeated NCCU was the first game of the conference slate in the 2013-14 season in Tallahassee, by a score of 63-60.  NCCU went on to win the remaining 15 games in MEAC play before winning the conference tournament and advancing to the Division I NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history.  The Eagles defeated FAMU earlier in the season, 81-63 in Tallahassee on February 1.
