GAME NOTES: #NCCUMBB vs. LIU Brooklyn (Dec. 6, 2016)

DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central University returns home to take on LIU Brooklyn in a return game from the 2015-16 season.  The Eagles are 2-0 at home so far this season, and look to even the record with the Blackbirds after a loss last year.

STARTING FIVE:
1. 4-2 is NCCU's best November since the Eagles went 5-1 during the 2013-14 season.
2. NCCU's five-game win streak that was snapped by ECU was the longest since the 2014-15 season with a 10-game and nine-game run.
3. NCCU will be on the road for six of the next 10 games from Nov. 26 to Dec. 30.
4. NCCU's non-conference schedule puts the Eagles on the road nine times out of 14 games.
5. NCCU went 5-9 in non-conference play last year.
 
SCOUTING THE BLACKBIRDS:
LIU Brooklyn just had a three-game win streak broken by Incarnate Word, 90-79.  The Blackbirds are led by the hot-scoring Jerome Frink who is averaging 17.9 points per game, and leads in rebounding with 7.8 boards per outing.  Frink put up 17 points in the loss to UIW, and Jashaun Agosto scored a game-high 22 points on 8-for-12 shooting, while shooting 4-for-5 from the arc.

NCCU vs NORTHEAST CONFERENCE
The Northeast Conference has 10 member institutions, and the Eagles have faced two.  NCCU has played Wagner twice, and played LIU Brooklyn for the first time in the 2015-16 season, and the Eagles have fallen in all three contests.
