STARTING FIVE:
1. 4-2 is NCCU's best November since the Eagles went 5-1 during the 2013-14 season.
2. NCCU's five-game win streak that was snapped by ECU was the longest since the 2014-15 season with a 10-game and nine-game run.
3. NCCU will be on the road for six of the next 10 games from Nov. 26 to Dec. 30.
4. NCCU's non-conference schedule puts the Eagles on the road nine times out of 14 games.
5. NCCU went 5-9 in non-conference play last year.
SCOUTING THE BEARS:
Truett McConnell hits the floor in Durham to finish up a lengthy four-game road trip stretching back to Dec. 10. The Bears are led by David Campbell who is currently averaging 13.2 points per contest. Campbell poured in 20 points last time out in a win against Ave Maria on Dec. 16.

SCOUTING THE CAVALIERS:
Montreat is on a tear right now, winning its last five competitions, with an exhibition loss to Appalachian State mixed in. Alonzo Mobley is getting it done for the Cavaliers, leading with 14.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Mobley nearly came up with a double-double in his last game with 12 points and nine rebounds in a win over Johnson & Wales.

The Appalachian Athletic Conference is a NAIA conference with 13 institutions. The Eagles have only faced two, Allen and Montreat. NCCU is 3-0 against the conference, with two wins coming against Allen.
