STARTING FIVE:
1. 4-2 is NCCU's best November since the Eagles went 5-1 during the 2013-14 season.

LSU takes the floor after having the week off for final exams, carrying a 5-2 record. The Tigers are unbeaten at home, coming off of a 84-65 win over Houston. Antonio Blakeney leads LSU in scoring with 15.6 points per game, and he put up a season second-best 23 in the win over Houston.

SCOUTING THE COWBOYS:
McNeese State is 2-5 as of Dec. 12, before visiting Southern Methodist on Dec. 14. Jamaya Burr leads the Cowboys in both points and assists per game, with 12.7 points and 5.0 assists per outing.

NCCU vs. SEC
The Southeastern Conference is a two-division league with 14 institutions, and NCCU has visited four. The Eagles fell to Florida, Mississippi State, and South Carolina before grabbing a big 62-52 win at Missouri on Nov. 30. NCCU is 1-3 all-time against the SEC.
NCCU vs SOUTHLAND CONFERENCE
The Southland Conference has 13 institutions, and the Eagles have faced two and are 1-1 all time. NCCU played Houston Baptist in 2007 and most recently, Stephen F. Austin in the 2011-12 season where the Eagles won 65-57 in the Global Sports Hoops Showcase in Eugene, Oregon.
