Complete Game Notes (PDF) THE GAME: NCCU takes the court for the second of two home games to start January against Johnson & Wales. The Eagles look to bounce back after having their non-conference home court winning streak snapped with a win over the Wildcats.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:-Johnson & Wales competes in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association and picked up a 20-11 record last season with a 6-0 mark in conference play. The Wildcats advancced to the USCAA National Semifinal before falling to Penn State Mont Alto 59-50.
-The Wildcats are propelled by Rickey Porter (Charlotte, N.C.) who leads in both points and rebounds per game with 19.8 points and 8.3 boards per outing. Nick Crawford (Atlanta, Ga.) follows with 11.9 points and 2.2 assists per contest.
-Johnson & Wales have been off the court since a Dec. 16 appearance at Campbell, where it fell 53-87. Crawford poured in a game-high 17 points followed by Porter's 11 points and seven rebounds. Michael Cuthbertson (Monroe, N.C.) pulled down a team-high 8 boards with nine points.

NCCU VS. JOHNSON & WALES:NCCU and Johnson & Wales have met four times, all in Durham with the Eagles emerging as the victors. NCCU has held JWU below 50 points in each meetings, and NCCU posted a 115-41 win on Nov. 13, 2011; the second-most points the Eagles have scored in a single game in the Division I era.
