THE GAME: NCCU continues to search for its first road victory of the year as the Eagles meet Quinnipiac.  The Eagles have not dropped back-to-back regular-season contests since Dec. 10 and 15 during the 2014-15 season, against No. 19 Maryland and Memphis, respectively.
 
SCOUTING THE BOBCATS:
-Quinnipiac is a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and finished with a 15-15 record during the 2014-15 season. 
-The Bobcats are led by senior guard Giovanni McLean (Bronx, N.Y.) who currently leads the team with 14.5 points and 4.5 assists per game.  In the post, the Bobcats are helped by Chaise Daniels (Meriden, Conn.) with 11.3 points and 8.0 boards per contest.
-Quinnipiac just picked up its first win of the year as the Bobcats defeated Holy Cross, 62-56.  Daniels earned a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds, and Daniel Harris (Odessa, Fla.) was right behind him with 16 points of his own.
 
SERIES: This is the first meeting between NCCU and Quinnipiac.
 
NCCU vs. The MAAC: The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference has 11 member institutions, however NCCU has not faced any of them.  This is the Eagles' first matchup against a MAAC team.
