RALEIGH, N.C. – The North Carolina Central University men's 4x200-meter relay squad finished in the top-10 this weekend, March 28-29, during the Raleigh Relays at Paul Derr Track in Raleigh, N.C.

The foursome of Dominick Lemonious, Petey Williams, Snonsio Boye-Weah, and Kevin Vincent obtained a ninth place performance, completing the event in one minute and 27 seconds (1:27.05).

The Eagles also gave a strong performance in the 4x100m relay as sprinters Lemonious, Williams, Boye-Weah, and Victor Dunbar posted a time of 42.08 for a 13th place finish.

On the women's side, notable performances included Darlene Girardeau's 17th place finish in the women's 200m dash (25.21), Alexis Sherrill who also earned 17th in the college division high jump (1.60m), and Delesha Conquest's 19th place spot in the 400m hurdles.

Hosted by North Carolina State University, the two-day competition held 114 Division I, II, and III schools with at least 4,158 registered competitors in 58 events.

NCCU men's and women's track and field squad will return to competition on April 4-5 at the High Point University Vertklasse Meeting in High Point, N.C.
