North Carolina Central University visits the Barclays Center, home of the NBA's Brooklyn Nets, to face MEAC foe Howard University in the second of two early-season conference contests.
Jordan Parks, NCCU's top scorer, is expecting a large turnout of family and friends from his nearby hometown of Queens, New York.

SCOUTING REPORT: HOWARD
- Howard University is coming off a 54-47 home victory over North Carolina A&T on Saturday.
- Howard boasts the 2014-15 MEAC Preseason Player of the Year in 5-11 sophomore guard James "J-Byrd" Daniel. A Hampton, Virginia native, Daniel led the MEAC in scoring last year, averaging 21.0 points per game in 28 outings, 11th best in the nation.

Howard has three Bison that average double figures in scoring - and they are all named James. The team's top scorer is James Daniel with 15.6 points per game, followed by James Miller (14.2) and James Carlton (11.2).
